Rochelle Tissa
Rochelle is a photographic artist whose work moves fluidly between documentary and art photography. Her practice explores themes of memory, youth-hood, and human connection. With an intuitive approach, she embraces the unpredictability of daily life- pauses, gestures, and fleeting moments that speak to interior worlds. Her images often carry a quiet emotional resonance, shaped by a sensitivity to light and atmosphere. Moving seamlessly between black and white and colour, Rochelle draws on the unique character of Australian light to evoke mood, nostalgia, and a sense of place- a space where personal memory and shared human experience gently intersect.
