Rochelle Tissa

Rochelle is a photographic artist whose work moves fluidly between documentary and art photography. Her practice explores themes of womanhood, family ritual and human connection. With an intuitive approach, she embraces the unpredictability of daily life- pauses, gestures, and fleeting moments that speak to interior worlds. Her images often carry a quiet emotional resonance, shaped by a sensitivity to light and atmosphere. Moving seamlessly between analogue and digital processes, Rochelle draws on the unique character of Australian light to evoke mood, nostalgia, and a sense of place- a space where personal memory and shared human experience intersect.
