Knowing You. Knowing Me. is an ongoing body of work documenting my daughter and our daily life together.

In witnessing her evolution, I am reminded of my own. Each of her discoveries mirrors my unfolding experience of motherhood.

Drawing on memories of my own childhood immersed in nature, I juxtapose these with her early encounters shaped by an urbane environment. 

This series becomes as much a self-portrait as it is a celebration of her navigation through a new world. In getting to know her, I am continually coming to know myself.
